About the CF Industries Foundation
At CF Industries, we are proud to have a long-standing commitment to supporting the communities in which we operate. The CF Industries Foundation further extends this commitment through philanthropic efforts, including supporting environmental stewardship, STEM education, healthy food access, and local community advancement.
Together, we can make a difference – one community at a time.
Philanthropic Pillars
We focus efforts on four specific areas of interest to maximize our impact.
STEM Education and Awareness
Helping people of all backgrounds, genders, and races across education and career development in areas that will support our clean and sustainable future.
Healthy Food Access
Improving access to nutritious affordable foods that members of all communities - including low-income communities and communities of color - need to grow and thrive.
Environmental Sustainability
Protecting and caring for the lands and natural resources that feed and fuel our communities.
Local Community Advancement
Making a difference in local communities where CF Industries employees live and work while addressing the needs of marginalized cultural groups and supporting first responders.
Grant Highlights
Chicago High School of Agricultural Science
The CF Industries Foundation awarded its first grants in 2023. The Chicago High School of Agricultural Science, located in Chicago, IL, is a college preparatory high school that prepares urban students for careers in agriculture. Students created a project plan to fully realize a poultry production area and facility for its Animal Science Career Pathway.
Second Harvest Food Bank
Second Harvest Food Bank of Greater New Orleans and Acadiana was awarded a grant to support the organization’s programs to improve food access in the Waggaman, Louisiana area of Jefferson Parish. This multi-year partnership will provide greater access to fresh, nutritious food for families, children, and seniors experiencing food insecurity.
"The CF Industries Foundation’s goal is to build a thriving and more sustainable world starting with the communities where we live and work. This is why we are committed to partnering with non-profits to advance STEM education and career development, protect and care for natural resources, improve healthy food access and improve the quality of life for our neighbors."
